VPS vs dedicated server

VPS vs dedicated server? If we want to know which hosting is better for us.First of all we need to know what is VPS hosting and what is dedicated hosting.

WHAT IS VPS HOSTING AND HOW IT’S WORK?

VPS means Virtual Private Server.Actually vps hosting is a combination of shared and dedicated hosting . You will get a part of a big server privately form your hosting service provider in vps hosting. I will make you understand in very simple language.

vps vs dedicated hosting

Let’s imagine server as a building and vps as an apartment. We all know what is an apartment . Right? An apartment is a self-contained housing unit which is a single part of a building. But  a user can use his/her apartment as he or she want. Because this apartment is his or her private property. VPS hosting is like that.

WHAT IS DEDICATED SERVER AND HOW IT’S WORK?

Dedicated hosting is a hosting service where users are the owner of a server. User can use the server as you want.In this service a client leases the entire server.

VPS VS DEDICATED SERVER:

In VPS hosting service you will get only a single part of a server. But it will be private for you.It is not like shared hosting. In VPS hosting you can use your part as your need. But it is limited. If you have a web site with 60k to 150k monthly audience or traffic than VPS hosting is perfect for you.But if you have more than 150k traffic per month VPS is not for you.

In dedicated hosting you will use a whole server. And is more expensive. If you have more than 150k audience than you have to go for dedicated hosting.Dedicated hosting will increase your web site’s loading speed and it will give more security.

I hope this will you to choose better hosting for your website. If you liked it .please share it.
